    Stopping Plaquenil and Cellcept when on Antibiotics I agree with warmwaters- I have heard of stopping cellcept if you develop an infection because it is an immunosuppresant but I too have never heard, nor have I been told my rheumy or PCP to stop taking plaquenil when I have an infection. I have recurrent sinus infections and have also had bouts of tooth infections and UTI's and have remained on.
